Who we are
The Stick Figure Purpose and the consulting arm, LinePoint Consulting, was founded by Kevin and Yvonne Henson. Kevin, with over 23 years of experience in fire and emergency services, brings extensive knowledge and insight to the team. Yvonne, who spent 20 years in public safety before transitioning to the private sector, brings a wealth of expertise in leadership, team development, and customer support to the table. Together, with their backgrounds in public safety and the private sector, they share a powerful vision: to empower individuals and teams to thrive through positive support, engaged leadership, and a dedication to growth and development.
Kevin began his public safety career in 2001 as a volunteer firefighter. In 2003, Kevin pursued his passion for the fire service as a career. Over the course of his career, Kevin has served in nearly every role within the fire service. Kevin currently continues to serve as a Deputy Fire Chief in the Charleston area of South Carolina.
Kevin completed a bachelor’s degree in Fire Administration from Waldorf University in 2017. Kevin is a graduate of the National Fire Academy’s Executive Fire Officer Program and is a credentialed Chief Fire Officer through the Center for Public Safety Excellence. Kevin is a current member of the International Association of Fire Chiefs and the International Association of Fire Service Engineers.
Yvonne started her career in public safety as a Records Clerk for the largest Sheriffs’ Office in South Carolina. In 2006, Yvonne joined the team at Greenville County Emergency Medical Services where she worked through the ranks as a 911 Dispatcher, Trainer, and Shift Supervisor. In 2016, Yvonne became the Communication Center Manager for the Greenville County Fire & EMS Communication Center. In 2020, Yvonne transitioned into the private sector where she continues to work with public safety software solutions with a focus in customer service and customer support.
Yvonne was certified by the International Association of Emergency Dispatchers as an Emergency Medical Dispatcher, Emergency Fire Dispatcher, and a Quality Assurance Manager. Yvonne is a graduate of the Communication Center Manager program through Fitch & Associates.
